I am the Mathematics Content Specialist at the Colorado Department of Education in Denver, Colorado. My role covers three broad responsibilities: (1) be a caretaker of the Colorado Academic Standards, supporting their understanding, implementation, and revision, (2) support high-quality mathematics instruction statewide, and (3) be the glue that holds Colorado’s various mathematics educator communities together, by being a communicator and by serving our professional mathematics teaching and leadership organizations.
